Try Another Muscle

I’ve recently taken up learning to do handstands and headstands. As a kid, I wasn’t so good at these. I couldn’t do cartwheels. (A friend of mine said her 80-some-year-old-great-grandfather did cartwheels in their front yard.) The image has stayed with me.

My friends (and husband) think I’m crazy. But turning the world upside down and exercising all the muscles it takes to stay there is its own creative force. For me anyway.

What is the physical thing you’ve always wanted to do? Any ideas on how to turn your creative thinking upside down—of not literally, then theoretically?

Cheers.
